Well, I'm glad your boat is floating. I post occasionally on Threadwatcher and I hope you continue to find some items of interest. I know what you mean by Syndk8 being 'beyond edgy" and I don't think Threadwatcher is going that route.

Earl has been around and has his finger on the pulse of the community at large and that's the targeted audiance. (I think lol).

later,

Funny! Not my intention to make it look like theregister but by coincidence i did work for TW2 who built theregister.

I don't like the way the sites looks, but i am no designer, and we've all seen syndk8 to know Earl knows less than me, so he thinks it's great.

Loads of features i would like to add to threadwatcher but until mick does his share i am on strike :)

Thank you for your kind comments about the site.
We are working and thinking very hard on how we can make it into something special with its own individual and style.
The site is very slowly getting a personality but i think there is a lot of work ahead to make it something for the contributors to be proud of and be honored to be part of.
I am sure we will get there though.

I thought TWer reminded me more of ElReg than the old TW... a more broad topic base than TW ever had... and obviously lacking the old "kommunity" that TW had built up.
